One of the most common and powerful tools of marketing and business is club flyer printing. A club flyer is a type of common known paper advertisement; using a circular, handbill or leaflet that is usually distributed or posted in public places. Flyers are a mode of advertisement and are used to promote the club’s service. Flyers with a picture or illustrations are attention grabbing, with content that is able to ‘hook’ clients. They are visual magnets, attracting the attention of users.
Club flyers are cheap to produce and are made in various sizes and shapes. One can make the club flyer themselves using the softwares available or it could be made online. By designing online you only need to specify what you want for the flyer and the selected printer will handle the rest. Online print jobs give you an added advantage of previewing the flyer online before the printing process starts.
The club flyers can be printed using two ways; litho printing and digital printing. Litho printing can be called the classic printing technique using a mirrored plate of lithographic stone while digital printing is done using digital printers. Both methods are widely used commercially. The type of paper used is very important. Mostly a 130,170 or 300gsm glossy paper is used for printing.
Today, when it comes to club flyer printing, the design of the flyer is made by keeping in mind the size of the flyer, its shape, the type of paper used for printing. The flyer is designed using one of the commonly available softwares in the market like Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDraw, etc. Once the page size is set, with taking care that an extra inch is added at the border allowing for ‘bleed'; edges that can be chopped off during printing if needed. So a 4×6 flyer would actually be set 4½x6½ in the software.
The next step is to decide on the type of background, coloring, font and the main photo to be used for the flyer or whether the flyer is going to be single or double sided. Limit the use of fonts being used in the flyer. Using a single liner is quite common these days so it is important to keep the club in mind when writing one. The one-liner should at least be related to the information of the event or service being promoted at the club. It is best to keep the flyer simple by building the club information around the main photo chosen earlier.
Once the designing of the club flyers is finished, save the files as high resolution TIF files. TIF format is easier for printers to use. After sending the flyer design to the printers, you should receive it in a week or two.
